XYDC2050 is a highly potent, selective antagonist of Vasopressin V2 receptor (V2R) with Ki of 2.8 nM, displays 162-fold selectivity over V1AR.
XYDC2050 effectively inhibits vasopressin-induced cAMP production with IC50 of 12.0 nM in cAMP assays.
XYDC2050 (0-10 uM) significantly delayed cyst growth in a dose-dependent manner in Madin–Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cyst model.
XYDC2050 (5 mg/kg, s.c. injection) inhibited cystogenesis and ameliorated disease progression in ADPKD mice.
