SV119 is a high-affinity, specific small molecule Sigma-2 receptor (σ2R, σ2 receptor) ligand with Ki of 5.19 nM, has 273-fold selectivity over σ1R.
SV119 induces apoptosis in a dose-dependent fashion in pancreas cancer cells.
SV119 potentiates conventional chemotherapies and improve survival in models of pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
SV119 can specifically bind to pancreatic cancer cells and induces target cell death in vitro and in vivo.
