RC-752 is a potent, seletive sigma-1 receptor (S1R) antagonist with Ki of 6.2 nM, 50-fold selective over S2R, shows antinociceptive activity.
RC-752 shows no cytotoxic effect in two normal human cell lines or in an in vivo zebrafish model.
RC-752 effectively alleviated pain the formalin test and the spinal nerve ligation model of neuropathic pain (NP).
