Pladienolide B is a potent inhibitor targeting the SF3B1 subunit of the spliceosome, exerts antitumor activities mediated through the inhibition of pre-mRNA splicing.
Pladienolide B inhibits human cervical carcinoma cells viability, and induces apoptosis.
Pladienolide B reduces SF3b1 expression in human cervical carcinoma cells, causes cell cycle arrest and apoptosis.
Pladienolide B has shown strong inhibitory effect against activity and growth of various cell lines via targeting SF3b.
