PRE-084 hydrochloride is a highly potent, selective sigma-1 receptor agonist with Ki of 2.2 nM, IC50 of 44 nM.
PRE-084 shows little or no affinity for sigma-2 and PCP receptors (Ki>10 uM).
PRE-084 has nootropic and antidepressant actions in vivo, as well as antitussive and reinforcing effects.
