    NPD-008 is a potent, selective Trypanosoma brucei PDE B1 (TbrPDEB1) inhibitor with Ki of 100 nM, exhibits antitrypanosomal effects with IC50 of 5.5 uM.
    NPD-008 displays 10-fold selectivity over hPDE4B1.
    Incubation of bloodstream form trypanosomes with NPD-008 increased intracellular cAMP levels in T. b. brucei in a dose-dependent fashion.
