Myosin-5 inhibitor G19 is a potent small molecule inhibitor of Myosin-5 in fungi, shows EC50 value of 0.326 μg/mL against Fusarium graminearum (Fg).
G19 severely damaged the surface integrity of mycelial cells and induced cytoplasmic leakage.
G19 stably binds to the target protein Myosin-5 in a mode similar to that of phenamacril.
G19 exhibits in vivo antifungal activity and curative effects against phytopathogenic fungi.
