Miconazole nitrate (R18134) is an imidazole antifungal agent, targets the enzyme 14 demethylase and inhibits biosynthesis of ergosterol in common fungal pathogens, also significantly reduces prostate cancer cell viability, clonogenic growth, invasion and migration, targets MCL-1 to exert an anti-leukemic effect, exhibits anti-tumor properties against multiple cancer types.
