Metyltetraprole is a potent tetrazolinone fungicide with EC50 0.002 ppm for both WT and G143A mutant Zymoseptoria tritici, overcomes QoI resistance.
Metyltetraprole inhibits electron transfer from succinate to cytochrome c and also from nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) to ubiquinone.
Metyltetraprole likely targets Z. tritici mitochondria Qo site of the cytochrome bc1 complex, as well as pyraclostrobin, a known QoI.
