K252a (SF2370) is a potent, non-selective tyrosine protein kinase inhibitor for Trk family, CaMK and other phosphorylase kinases.
K252a also partially inhibits PDGFR and inactive on the EGF, FGF and IGF-1 receptors.
K252a inhibits Met autophosphorylation in cultured cells and in immunoprecipitates and prevents activation of its downstream effectors MAPK and Akt.
K252a is a staurosporine analog.
