IOR-160 is a potent dual inhibitor of casein kinase 2 (CK2) and HDAC with IC50 of 1.7 nM for CK2 and 3.3/24.0/3.9/13.0 nM for HDAC1/2/3/6 respectively.
IOR-160 exhibits highly potent inhibition of CK2 and HIPK2 (less than 10% of remanent activity at 0.5 μM), while showing moderate to low inhibition of DYRK1A, CLK2, Pim-1, Mnk2, DRAK1, and TrkA (from 18% to 65%).
IOR-160 exhibits potent inhibitory activity (in the nanomolar range) against HDAC1, HDAC2, HDAC3, and HDAC6, while shows significantly less potency for HDAC8 (in the micromolar range).
IOR-160 results in reduced MDA-MB-231 tumor growth in xenograft model.
