IMP-1002 (IMP1002) is a potent P. falciparum N-myristoyltransferase (PfNMT) inhibitor, potently inhibits parasite growth with EC50 of 34 nM (3D7 strain).
IMP-1002 can also overcome G386E-mediated resistance.
IMP-1002 is 4-fold more potent in killing parasites than the most potent previously reported PfNMT inhibitor DDD85646 (Cat# PC-62880).
