HIFN is a novel and more potent TrkB activator than HIOC, exhibits heightened TrkB activity in NIH-3T3-TrkB cells at 10 nM.
HIFN reduces retinal and visual function deficits following ocular trauma.
HIFN demonstrated neuroprotection in an animal model of overpressure ocular blast injury, ameliorating blast-related visual functional decline. HIFN exhibited better protective effects than HIOC.
