GB2095 is a highly potent, selective and in vivo active galectin-3 (Gal-3) inhibitor with Kd of 36 nM (human Gal-3), 14-fold selectivity for galectin-3 over all other galectins.
GB2095 shows Kd of 350 nM for mouse Gal-3, 100-fold selective over mouse Gal-1.
GB2095 inhibits the growth of 4T1 breast and B16–F10 melanoma tumors in syngeneic mouse cancer models.
GB2095 is a new tool to investigate galectin-3 pharmacology in in vivo mouse models.
