DSM502 (DSM 502) is a potent, selective inhibitor of P. falciparum and P. vivax DHODH with IC50 of 20 and 14 nM, respectively.
DSM502 displays high potency against Pf3D7 parasites in whole cell assays (IC50=14 nM).
DSM502 displays no inhibitory activities on mammalian DHODHs (IC50>100 uM, hDHODH,mDHODH,rDHODH and dDHODH).
