7,8-Dihydroxyflavone (7,8-DHF) demonstrates remarkable therapeutic efficacy in animal models of a variety of central nervous system disorders.
7,8-Dihydroxyflavone (7,8-DHF) also possess antiestrogenic and antiproliferative activities.
7,8-Dihydroxyflavone (7,8-DHF) orally bioavailable and able to penetrate the blood–brain barrier.
7,8-dihydroxyflavone (7,8-DHF) also is a direct and potent pyridoxal 5'-phosphate phosphatase (PDXP) inhibitor, an enzyme that controls levels of pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP), the co-enzymatically active form of vitamin B6.
