ZSET1446 (ST-101) is a small molecule cognitive enhancer that potentiates acetylcholine-mediated facilitation of inhibitory synaptic transmission in the hippocampal neurons.
ZSET1446 (ST-101) increases the extracellular ACh in the cortex and hippocampus and enhances nicotine-stimulated ACh release in the hippocampus in normal rats, without affecting nAChRs.
