ZINC000006658090 (Compound 8090) is a highly potent, selective and non-competitive inhibitor of serotonin transporter (SERT) with Ki of 14 nM.
ZINC000006658090 (Compound 8090) does not preferentially stabilize an open cytoplasmic pathway but like ibogaine and unlike classic SSRIs they decrease the accessibility of the extracellular pathway.
ZINC000006658090 (Compound 8090) is to close the extracellular pathway, with little or no effect on the cytoplasmic pathway.
ZINC000006658090 (Compound 8090) is selective versus NET, DAT, and ~300 GPCR targets.
ZINC000006658090 (Compound 8090) (10 mg/kg) chronically injected in mice produced an anti-anxiolytic-like effect in the plus-maze test.
