YU142670 is a highly specific, soluble OCRL/INPP5B inhibitor with IC50 of 0.71 and 1.78 μM in malachite green assay respectively, directly interacts with the catalytic domain of INPP5B.
YU142670 does not inhibit INPP5A, SHIP1 and SJ1 5-phosphatases.
YU142670 induces enhanced actin polymerization and ruffle activity at the plasma membrane, increases the levels of PI(4,5)P2 in mouse embryonic fibroblasts or human dermal fibroblasts and inhibits the activity of over-expressed human OCRL in Cos-7 cells.
