YG1702 is a potent, specific aldehyde dehydrogenase family 18 member A1 (ALDH18A1) inhibitor with association constant (Ka) of 0.589 uM in ITC assays.
YG1702 inhibits N-MYC expression and attenuates the growth of human neuroblastoma (NB) cells, induces MYCN down-regulation at the mRNA and protein levels.
YG1702 (45 mg/kg per day, i.p.) inhibited tumor growth in subcutaneous xenograft mouse models [SK-N-BE(2) and IMR32].
YG1702 triggers ferroptosis and impairs both spontaneous and chemically induced hepatocarcinogenesis.
