VU6047534 shows high subtype selectivity relative to 5-HT2A and 5-HT2C (no significant inhibition up to 10 uM).
VU6047534 is peripherally restricted and able to both prevent and treat Sugen-hypoxia-induced pulmonary arterial hypertension.
