VNT-101 (VNT101) is a potent influenza A virus (IAV) inhibitor disrupting of nucleoprotein (NP)-NP protein-protein interaction (PPI), targets nucleoprotein (NP) subunit of the viral RNP replication complex, has cellular EC50 of 5 nM in H1N1 CPE assays.
VNT-101 exhibited attractive pharmacokinetics in rats and dogs, and a favorable preclinical safety profile.
VNT-101 demonstrated robust antiviral activity in rodent models of influenza infection.
