UNC7467 is a potent, selective inositol hexakisphosphate kinase (IP6K) inhibitor with IC50 values of 8.9 nM (IP6K1), 4.9 nM (IP6K2) and 1320 nM (IP6K3).
UNC7467 reduced levels of inositol pyrophosphates by 66-81% in HCT116 colon cancer cell line, without significantly perturbing levels of other inositol phosphates.
UNC7467 improved glycemic profiles, ameliorated hepatic steatosis, and reduced weight gain without altering food intake in diet-induced obese (DIO) mice.
UNC7467 is an in vivo chemical probe for IP6K-related research.
