UNC0638 (UNC 0638) is a potent, selective, substrate-competitive inhibitor of G9a (EHMT2) and GLP (EHMT1) with IC50 of <15 nM and 19 nM in SAHH-coupled assays, respectively,
UNC0638 shows very weak activity against JmjD2E and DNMT1.
UNC0638 is inactive against EZH2, SETD7, DOT1L and SETD8.
UNC0638 reduces the clonogenicity of MCF7 cells and the abundance of H3K9me2.
