UK122 (UK-122) is potent, selective inhibitor of urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA) with IC50 0.2 uM in cell-free indirect uPA assays.
UK122 shows no or little inhibition of other serine proteases such as thrombin, trypsin, plasmin, and the tissue-type plasminogen activator (IC50 values >100 uM).
UK122 (100 uM) significantly suppresses the cell migration on fibronectin-coated slides by 80% on pancreatic cancer cells CFPAC-1 cell migration, does not inhibit cancer cell growth.
