U-73122 is an unselective phospholipase C (PLC) inhibitor, inhibits agonist-induced platelet aggregation with IC50 of 1-5 uM.
U-73122 also inhibited PMN adherence to and transmigration through TNF-alpha-activated endothelium (IC50 <50 nM).
U-73122 inhibits PLC-dependent processes in human platelets and polymorphonuclear neutrophils.
U-73122 also directly modulates TRPM4 and TRPM3 channels, potentiates Ca(2) (+) -dependent TRPM4 currents in human Jurkat T-cells, endogenous TRPM4 in HEK293T cells and recombinant human TRPM4.
