Ticagrelor (AZD6140) effectively inhibits platelet aggregation without significant increases in bleeding time in vivo.
Ticagrelor (AZD6140) is used for the prevention of thrombotic events (for example stroke or heart attack) in people with acute coronary syndrome or myocardial infarction with ST elevation.
