TRV027 (TRV120027) is a potent, selective β-arrestin biased ligand of angiotensin II type 1 receptor (AT1R), competitively antagonizes angiotensin II-stimulated G protein signaling.
TRV027 stimulates β-arrestin recruitment and activates several kinase pathways, including p42/44 mitogen-activated protein kinase, Src, and endothelial nitric-oxide synthase phosphorylation via β-arrestin coupling.
TRV120027 increases cardiomyocyte contractility in vitro.
TRV120027 reduces mean arterial pressure in rats.
