TRC102 (Methoxyamine HCl, TRC-102) is a small-molecule base-excision repair (BER) inhibitor, potentiates the cytotoxicity of pemetrexed and reverses resistance by binding to chemotherapy-induced abasic sites in DNA.
Methoxyamine HCl is highly water soluble potentiates the cytotoxicity of alkylator and antimetabolite chemotherapy and reverses chemotherapy resistance by rapidly and covalently binding to chemotherapy-induced apurinic/apyrimidinic (AP, abasic) sites in DNA.
TRC102 extended median tumor growth delay in mice with human NSCLC xenografts.
