TPPU is a potent soluble epoxide hydrolase (sHE) inhibitor with IC50 of 37 nM and 3.7 nM for monkey and human sHE, respectively.
TPPU attenuates hepatic fibrosis and endoplasmic reticulum stress induced by carbon tetrachloride in mice.
TPPU significantly decreases not only the percentages but also the proliferative capacity of different populations of cardiac fibroblasts.
TPPU also reduces the migration of fibroblasts into the heart from the bone marrow in vivo.
