TGX-221 is a potent, selective PI3K p110β inhibitor with IC50 of 8.5 nM.
TGX-221 weakly inhibits p110δ (IC50=211 nM), and no activity against p110α (IC50>1 uM).
TGX-221 inhibits platelet-ECC interaction, platelet aggregation and platelet-granulocyte binding。
TGX-221 shows anti-thrombotic effectt devoid of other cardiovascular actions in rats.
