TFC-007 (TFC007) is a potent, specific hematopoietic prostaglandin D synthase (H-PGDS) inhibitor with IC50 of 83 nM.
TFC-007 displays negligible effects on COX-1, COX-2, 5-LOX, LTC4 synthase, TXA2 synthase and microsomal prostaglandin E2 synthase.
TFC-007 (30mg/kg, p.o.) given once before a challenge almost completely suppressed PGD(2) production in the nasal tissue early and late after the challenge.
