T-ALZ01 (CMP-1696) is a small molecule inhibitor of complement component C1r.
T-ALZ01 (CMP-1696) competitively inhibits C1r through binding of the CCP2-SP region, a functional region conserved in different species such as humans, mice, and rats.
T-ALZ01 (CMP-1696) significantly reduces neuroinflammation in SD microglia cells.
T-ALZ01 (CMP-1696) affects the complement pathway in a dose-dependent manner in SD microglia cell.
T-ALZ01 (CMP-1696) reduces neurodegeneration in the hippocampus and cortex of male and female SD rats.
