Subquinocin is a small molecule inhibitor of DUB activity of CYLD with IC50 of 30 uM, enhances NF-κB activation by inhibiting CYLD.
Subquinocin inhibits the DUB activity of CYLD by disturbing the interaction between the scissile bond of ubiquitin and catalytic cysteine residue (C598) of CYLD.
Subquinocin also inhibits the DUB activities of USP5 and USP15.
Subquinocin enhanced NF-κB activation by increasing polyubiquitin chains in cells.
Subquinocin is an inhibitor for USP-family but not other families.
