Spinosyn A is a polyketide insecticide in Saccharopolyspora spinosa, suppresses breast tumor cell proliferation and growth by binding to and activating Argininosuccinate synthase (ASS1), has potential inhibitory effects on a variety of cancer cells.
Spinosyn A exerts anti-tumorigenic effects on progesterone-sensitive ERα-positive breast cancer cells by modulating multiple signaling pathways.
Spinosyn A inhibits the EGFR pathway in vitro and in vivo. Spinosyn A is the major component of spinosad.
