SVC-02 is a potent and specific small-molecule vasohibin (VASH) inhibitor with IC50 of 11 nM.
SVC-02 improves cardiomyocyte relaxation in obese ZSF1 rats.
SVC-02 improves ZSF1 obese rat myocyte stiffness at 30 weeks of age.
SVC-02 improves relaxation in isolated human cardiomyocytes from both failing and nonfailing hearts.
SVC-02 reduces myocardial stiffness and improves relaxation in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF).
Vasohibins (VASH1 and VASH2) acts as tubulin carboxypeptidase, binds to small vasohibin binding protein (SVBP) and forms the major brain tubulin tyrosine carboxypeptidase (TCP).
