STA-013 is a potent, selective pan-EphB tyrosine kinase inhibitor with IC50 of 0.69, 1.73 and 1.02 uM for EphB1, EphB2 and EphB4 respectively.
STA-013 (0-20 uM) inhibits the lipid accumulation after differentiation to adipocytes in the embryonic mouse 3T3-L1 fibroblast.
STA-013 modulated the mitochondrial respiration and inhibited fatty acid oxidation.
STA-013 promoted whole-body weight loss, restored glucose homeostasis, and mitigated insulin resistance in a high-fat diet (HFD)-induced obesity mouse model.
STA-013 (25 mg/kg, i.p for 6 weeks) improved insulin signaling in isolated brown adipose tissues and livers of HFD-induced obese mice.
