SRT3025 is a potent, orally active SIRT1 activator that activates wild-type Sirt1 protein, but not the Sirt1 mutant E230K.
SRT3025 increases deacetylation of hepatic p65 and skeletal muscle Foxo1 and decreases plasma levels of LDL-cholesterol and total cholesterol and reduced atherosclerosis in vivo.
