SNG-1153 (SNG1153) is a derivate of icaritin that inhibits the growth of lung CSCs, targets abnormal ERα36 activity, inhibits cell growth and induces apoptosis of BCR-ABL+ leukemic cells.
SNG-1153 inhibits the tumorsphere formation and decreases CD133-positive (lung CSC marker) cancer cells, attenuates tumor formation in NOD/SCID mice.
SNG-1153 induces β-catenin phosphorylation and down-regulated β-catenin.
SNG-1153 effectively eliminates infiltrated BCR-ABL+ blast cells and enhances survival of mice combined with dasatinib.
