SJW-2C-227 is a broad-spectrum anti-viral compound that target enterovirus 2C potein, inhibits 2C ATPase activity, exhibits anti-viral activity of SJW-2C-227 with an EC50 of 1.7 µM against EVA71 and 0.52 µM against EV-D68.
SJW-2C-227 inhibited the virus-induced CPE with an IC50 of 2.66 µM, inhibited the ATPase function of Δ2C116-329 with a clear dose-dependent response.
SJW-2C-227 binds to recombinant EV-A71 2C protein in vitro, does not inhibit the EV-A71 replicon system.
SJW-2C-227 is highly potent against EV-D68 with an IC50 value of 0.85 µM and PV-1 strain with an IC50 of 1.7 µM.
