SEPT9 inhibitor 8b is a small molecule inhibitor of Septin 9 (SEPT9) with IC50 of 95 uM in fluorescence polarization (FP) assays, and binding KD of 22 uM, disrupts the structure of SEPT9, microtubules, and actin filaments.
SEPT9 inhibitor 8b potently inhibits cell proliferation and viability in OSCC cell lines (OCMC) with IC50 of 21 uM, and IC50 of 30 uM in human normal oral keratinocytes cell line (HNOK).
SEPT9 inhibitor 8b (5-20 uM) effectively inhibited the migration ability of OSCC cells and the invasion ability of OCMC cells.
