SARS PLpro inhibitor rac5c is a potent, small molecule inhibitor of SARS PLpro with IC50 of 0.81 uM.
Nsp3 expression decreased Lys48‐linked polyubiquitin, which was inhibited by rac5c in a dose‐dependent manner.
rac5c (33 uM) reduced SARS‐CoV‐2‐induced CPE.
