SAN4825 is a selective small-molecule inhibitor of cardiac ADP-ribosyl cyclase (ADPR cyclase) with IC50 of 0.13 uM.
SAN4825 displays no significant activity agianst CD38 and A. californica ADPR cyclase.
SAN4825 (3 uM) significantly reduced the number of delayed after depolarisations within 6 s following rapid pacing from 13.1 ± 2.7 to 2.9 ± 1.9.
SAN4825 (3 mg/kg i.v.) significantly prolongs the time to ventrular fibrillation (VF) and cardiac arrest (CA) in vivo model of Ca2+ overload-induced ventricular arrhythmia.
