SA16 is a potent, dual PDK1 and Aurora kinase A inhibitor with IC50 of 416 and 35 nM, respectively.
SA16 blocks glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) proliferation with no toxicity in normal cells, induces GBM apoptosis and inhibits cell migration.
SA16 exhibits an increased efficacy against glioma stem cells (GSCs), inducing their differentiation and apoptosis.
