S6K2 inhibitor Compound 2 (S6K2-IN-1) is the first potent and highly isoform-specific S6K2 inhibitor with IC50 of 22 nM, inactive for the closely related isoform S6K1 at 5 uM.
S6K2 inhibitor Compound 2 did not show significant inhibitory activity against MAPKAPK2, MAPKAPK3, FGFR4, and TTK kinases, except for FGFR4 (IC50=216 nM).
