生物&药学活性

Roscovitine ((R)-Roscovitine, Seliciclib, CYC202) is a potent and selective CDK inhibitor with IC50 of 0.2 uM, 0.65 uM, and 0.7 uM for CDK5, Cdc2, and CDK2, respectively.
Roscovitine weakly inhibits ERK1 and ERK2 (IC50=34 uM and 14 uM), poorly inhibits CDK4/cyclin D1 and CDK6/cyclin D2 (IC50>100 uM).
Roscovitine suppresses the proliferation of mammalian cell lines with an average IC50 of 16 uM.
Roscovitine significantly inhibits growth of The Ewing's sarcoma family of tumors (ESFT) xenografts.
