RO 5203648 is a potent and selective TAAR1 partial agonist with Ki of 0.5, 1.0, 6.8 and 2.6 nM for mouse, rat, human and monkey TAAR1, respectively.
RO 5203648 displays >130-fold fold selectivity of mouse TAAR1 Ki over a panel of 149 target proteins.
RO 5203648 increases the firing frequency of dopaminergic and serotonergic neurons in the ventral tegmental area and the dorsal raphe nucleus.
RO 5203648 demonstrates clear antipsychotic- and antidepressant-like activities as well as potential anxiolytic-like properties.
