生物&药学活性

RI173 is a potent, covalent, triple-acting inhibitor of SARS-CoV-2 protease Mpro, PLpro and human cathepsin L with IC50 of 0.6 uM, 0.2 uM and 1.7 uM, respectively.
RI173 covalently reacts to the active cysteine residue of SARS-CoV-2 Mpro (Cys 145) and Plpro (Cys111), exhibits 10-fold more potent than disulfiram against SARS-CoV-2 protease.
RI173 exhibits antiviral activity in a narrow range from approximately 100 to 200 nM in SARS-CoV-2 infectivity cells-based assays。
RI173 also shows greater antiviral effect and less toxicitythan disulfiram.
