RGH-560 (RGH560) is a potent, selective α7 nAChR positive allosteric modulator (PAM) with EC50 of 190 nM (Ca2+-influx).
RGH-560 effectively reverses the scopolamine-induced cognitive impairment with a MED of 10 mg/kg.
RGH-560 is effective in rodent models of cognition, e.g., in the place recognition test.
RGH-560 shows significant cognitive-enhancement in scopolamine-induced amnesia in mice.
