Pretomanid (PA-824) is an anti-tuberculosis agent that inhibits the synthesis of protein and cell wall lipid.
Pretomanid (PA-824) exhibits bactericidal activity against both replicating and static M. tuberculosis (MIC: 0.015-0.25 ug/mL).
Pretomanid (PA-824) shows potent bactericidal activity against MDR M. tuberculosis and promising oral activity in animal infection models.
